Bio

Born and raised on Gadigal Country (Bondi), Doron graduated from the Australian Institute of Music with a Bachelor of Music (Music Theatre).

At the end of 2024, Doron will be playing Bryan in The Female of The Species for Rogue Projects @ The Old Fitz, and at the beginning of 2024, Doron played Gladhand in Opera Australia’s production of West Side Story.

Doron played the Lobster in Little Red Co’s production of Christmas Actually, the music of Love Actually live on stage, at the Sydney Opera House and Brisbane House respectively.

Doron was part of the Angel City Four (tenor, covering Stine), in City of Angels for Josh Robson Productions at Hayes Theatre Co.

Getting in touch with his villainous side, Doron played The Duke of Weselton in Disneys Frozen touring Australia and Singapore and Iago in Disneys Aladdin, which toured to Auckland, Adelaide and Singapore.

Doron toured with Beautiful: The Carole King Musical where he was an off-stage-swing, understudying the roles of Barry Mann, Neil Sedaka, both Righteous Brothers, and Lou Adler.

For Bakehouse Theatre Company, Doron played Nathan in The Laden Table at Kings Cross Theatre and comically played Bob Hawke & John Howard in Keating! The Musical for Birdie Productions, Directed by Jordy Shea. 

Doron performed his own cabaret Dentures & Ditties: Tales of the Nursing Home, to a sold out audience at the 107 Projects in Redfern. 

Using his versatility, Doron has been seen in a number of Squabbalogic productions; Miller in The Original Grease, Nathaniel in Kiss Me Kate (Mystery Musical #4), Ambrose Kemper in Hello, Dolly! (Mystery Musical #2), and was part of the ensemble for Bye Bye Birdie (Mystery Musical #1). 

Doron can seen online and on television for Sportsbet, SquareSpace, Telstra and HnR Block advertisements.

Doron often sings with the eclectic klezmer band CHUTNEY, and can be heard on their debut album Ajar. He can also be heard on the ABC Kids Album: Animal Songs and Sounds. Both available on Spotify and Itunes.
